PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Dr. Haley Panka, ND, and Dr. Jacob Panka, ND, MS, are naturopathic doctors registered with the State of Minnesota under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 147E and regulated by the Registered Naturopathic Doctor Advisory Council under the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. They hold Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degrees from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, a program accredited by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education (CNME), and have passed the Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Examinations (NPLEX).
Drs. Haley and Jacob Panka are also licensed as naturopathic doctors in the State of Wisconsin under Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 466 and are regulated by the Wisconsin Naturopathic Medicine Examining Board. Telehealth appointments are available only to patients who are physically located in Minnesota or Wisconsin at the time of their appointment, and care provided to patients located in Wisconsin is performed within the scope of practice defined by Wisconsin law.
Naturopathic doctors registered in Minnesota are not medical doctors (MDs), doctors of osteopathic medicine (DOs), or licensed in any other healthcare profession unless separately credentialed. Under Minnesota law, registered naturopathic doctors do not hold pharmaceutical prescriptive authority and cannot prescribe legend or controlled substances.
