Dr. Haley Panka, ND

Dr. Haley Panka, ND is a naturopathic doctor in Hopkins, MN specializing in women's health and hormones, pediatrics, and holistic diabetes care, with supportive care for breast cancer patients and survivors.

I'm Dr. Haley Panka. I integrate evidence-informed naturopathic medicine with conventional standard-of-care to find and treat the root cause of illness, not just its symptoms. My focus is always the whole person. I'm passionate about helping patients build lasting wellness through sustainable change, better nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep, while assessing each patient's risk factors and emphasizing prevention before chronic disease takes hold.

I also bring a depth of oncology experience to naturopathic care. My path to this medicine began in a bone marrow transplant unit, where supporting patients through the hardest stretches of their illness showed me how much recovery depends on caring for the whole person. That experience led me to train under oncology-focused naturopathic doctors, and today, supportive care for breast cancer patients and survivors is one of the most meaningful parts of my work. If you're looking for a holistic partner to walk with you toward better health, I'm here to help.

Women’s Health + Hormones

I have a special interest in women’s health and hormones. I help many women regulate their menstrual cycle and treat painful, irregular, and heavy periods as well as PMS/PMDD. I offer preconception care and infertility support. I also help women going through their peri-menopausal and menopausal years for symptom relief of hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and mood irregularities, as well as preventative care focusing on bone support and heart health. Other hormone-related conditions I commonly treat include ovarian cysts, PMOS/PCOS, acne, endometriosis, hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue, insomnia, and diabetes. I use hormone lab panels to evaluate biomarkers and approach treatment in a tailored way for each individual.

Pediatric Health

As a mother and doctor to many mothers, helping children with naturopathic medicine has become one of my favorite areas of focus. My services complement well-child visits by offering support with nutrition, lifestyle counseling, dietary supplements, and herbal medicines. I see children of all ages, infants up to age 21 years. I help infants and children with skin issues and provide immune support to help prevent recurrent illness. I also help children who have digestive concerns, sleep issues, and mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, attention difficulty, and hyperactivity. I also help teenagers dealing with acne, mental health concerns, and those who are having painful, heavy menstrual periods.

Holistic Diabetes Care

I offer holistic diabetes care by using a combination of lifestyle, nutrition, and exercise counseling with botanical medicine and other dietary supplements to improve blood sugar control. Getting my patients healthy enough to work toward reducing reliance on medication, in partnership with your prescribing physician, is a top priority. My approach to diabetes includes weight management, supporting organ function, and reducing insulin resistance. My approach complements standard diabetes care with integrative treatments that are safe to use with insulin and other diabetes medications.

Healthy Aging + Breast Cancer Support

Another passion of mine is increasing the vitality of my elderly patients. I provide support for osteoporosis, sleep disorders, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and gut health. I provide cancer prevention support for those who have an increased risk of cancer, and supportive care for breast cancer patients and survivors. Optimizing cancer-fighting nutrients in the diet and improving other lifestyle factors are crucial to resilience after surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation and preventing cancer recurrence.
