Functional Lab Interpretation — Data Analysis, Not Impressions

The Report is a quantitative document. Your markers — from standard panels to functional lab testing — are read against optimal ranges, not just conventional cutoffs. Your labs are plotted over time — including results imported from previous providers or from at-home and membership lab services — so trends speak before symptoms do. Treatments are tracked against outcomes: what we tried, when, and what your numbers did in response. And every recommendation carries its citations, so you or any provider can check the work.

And the price stays simple — a flat $150 per Report. New patient Reports carry their own longitudinal work in records review and baseline building; follow-up Reports carry your labs and treatment responses over time. The analysis is substantial either way.

A $50 deposit holds any appointment. We accept HSA and FSA cards, and provide superbills you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Labs and supplements are billed separately. The Report is offered with Dr. Jacob's visits, pediatric included.

Care-package members: your package pricing doesn't change. Add the Report to any individual package follow-up with Dr. Jacob for $150, selected when you book or arranged at your visit.

How do I add the Report to my visit?

Book your visit with Dr. Jacob as usual on our scheduling page, then select the Panka Functional Health Report add-on before checkout — a flat $150 with any visit.

Is the visit different if I add the Report?

No — the visit is identical in length and depth, and root-cause analysis happens in the room either way. The Report is the additional analysis and writing Dr. Jacob does with your data after you leave.

I already have results from an at-home or membership lab service. Can you help me make sense of them?

Yes — this is exactly what the Report is built for. Bring results from any testing service to your visit: Dr. Jacob reviews outside labs as part of every appointment, and the Report turns them into functional interpretation, trends over time, and a prioritized plan with citations. Testing finds the data; the Report tells you what it means and what to do about it.

Why one flat price for every Report?

Because the work is substantial either way. New patient Reports carry records review and baseline building; follow-up Reports carry your labs over time and treatment-response analysis. Rather than slice it, we kept it simple: $150 per Report, any visit.

I have a long, complicated health history. Will the Report cover all of it?

The Report analyzes your current visit, your labs, and the key trends in the records you share. For long or complex histories, the longitudinal section synthesizes what matters most — it's a clinical analysis, not a page-by-page chart review. And occasionally a case is better served by a dedicated records-review visit before a Report would be useful; if that's true for you, we'll say so before you book one.

Is the Report available for pediatric visits?

Yes — any of Dr. Jacob's visits can add the Report, children included. An honest note: younger patients' histories are often simpler, and many families won't need this depth of analysis. The choice is yours, and Dr. Jacob will say so plainly if he doesn't think a Report would genuinely add value for your child. Our pediatric care itself is unchanged.

When and how do I receive it?

Within 24–48 hours of your visit; most arrive the next day. It comes as a secure PDF, either by secure message in your Charm patient portal or by encrypted email — your preference.

Do you take insurance?

We're a direct-pay practice — naturopathic doctors in Minnesota are out-of-network with all insurance plans. We provide superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement and accept HSA and FSA cards.

Is this a membership or subscription?

No. No membership, no monthly fee — that's a Panka principle. The Report is a per-visit choice, never a commitment.

How does secure messaging work between visits?

Every patient can message their doctor through the HIPAA-compliant Charm portal. Simple questions and clarifications are typically no charge. Messages involving more complex clinical work — new treatment decisions or review of new labs — may incur a $50–95 fee depending on complexity, so that work gets the same careful attention as a visit.
