A Naturopathic Doctor for
Eden Prairie Families,
Close By in Hopkins

Maybe this year meant three separate appointments: your child's eczema, your teen's painful periods, your own fatigue. Each was short, and no one connected the dots. Panka Natural Health is a family-owned clinic in downtown Hopkins, about 10 to 20 minutes from most of Eden Prairie, where the same two doctors see parents and kids.

If you're looking for a naturopathic doctor near Eden Prairie, Panka Natural Health is in downtown Hopkins, about 10 to 20 minutes away by Highway 212, 169, or 62. There is no Eden Prairie office. Drs. Haley and Jacob Panka, the same two doctors at every visit, care for adults and for children from infancy through age 21 at reduced pricing. Telehealth covers Minnesota and Wisconsin.

How we approach family care at Panka

You see the same two doctors at every visit. Dr. Haley focuses on pediatrics, women's health and hormones, and healthy aging. Dr. Jacob focuses on fatigue, focus, and stress; cardiovascular and metabolic health; gutโ€“brain physiology; and athletic performance and recovery. Adult first visits run two full hours. Pediatric visits are shorter and can be extended when your child needs more time. We read the records you share before you arrive and screen everything each person takes for interactions. If a test would change the plan, we explain why and what it costs first. We read results through a functional lens, looking at patterns over time. Messaging through the Charm portal is included between visits, with no membership. We work alongside your pediatrician or primary care clinician, not instead of them.

What Eden Prairie kids and teens come in for

Kids and teens usually come to us with something that keeps coming back: eczema or acne, reflux, constipation, or bloating, frequent infections, painful or irregular periods, anxiety, sleep trouble, or support for ADHD or sports. Dr. Haley starts with the basics: what your child eats, how they sleep, and what a school day looks like. We look for patterns first, such as flares that follow certain foods, short sleep, or a stressful stretch at school. When it would help, we add screening labs, nutrient testing, or food sensitivity testing. Sensitivity testing points to likely triggers, and a supervised food reintroduction confirms them. A food allergy is different: hives, swelling, or trouble breathing right after eating needs an allergist.

What our Eden Prairie springs testing found

Many people around Eden Prairie fill jugs at Frederick-Miller Spring or the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area spring. Dr. Jacob has tested both since 2021, because mineral data was hard to find. Frederick-Miller had more calcium and magnesium, with arsenic below the EPA limit and lead at very low levels. The Richard T. Anderson spring tested above 0.3 mg/L of manganese, the level the Minnesota Department of Health considers safe for older children and adults, in repeated samples from 2021 to 2025. Its arsenic was near or above the EPA limit of 0.01 mg/L in most tests. For babies, the Department advises 0.1 mg/L of manganese or less, including water for formula. If you use that spring, especially for a baby, during pregnancy, or for young children, Dr. Jacob suggests another source or a filter that removes manganese and arsenic. This testing covers specific minerals and metals at the times sampled. It can't certify that a spring is safe today, and it doesn't cover PFAS or pesticides.

Seeing a naturopathic doctor from Eden Prairie: Hopkins or video

Our clinic is at 901 1st Street North, Suite 901A, in downtown Hopkins, along the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail. From most of Eden Prairie, plan on roughly 10 to 20 minutes by Highway 212, 169, or 62. There's ample parking in front of and behind the building. The entrance is up four steps with handrails plus a small step, so the office is not wheelchair accessible. If stairs are a barrier, virtual visits are the alternative. Common questions

Do you have an office in Eden Prairie?

No. Our only clinic is in downtown Hopkins, roughly 10 to 20 minutes from most of Eden Prairie.

Do you take insurance?

We're direct-pay and out-of-network with all insurers. We provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement and accept HSA and FSA cards. Medicare and Medicaid do not reimburse naturopathic services in Minnesota. Your other providers may be able to order some tests through insurance, or you can pay cash for testing through us. Current fees are on the scheduling page.

Can our visits be virtual?

Yes, for patients physically located in Minnesota or Wisconsin at the time of the visit. In Wisconsin, care is virtual only. Some concerns are better seen in person, and we'll tell you when.

Do we keep our pediatrician?

Yes. We work alongside your pediatrician or primary care clinician, not instead of them, so your child keeps their regular doctor while we look at the concerns that keep coming back.
