How we approach this at Panka Natural Health

Adult first visits run two full hours, in Hopkins or by video. Share recent labs, imaging, and specialist notes in the Charm patient portal beforehand, and your doctor reads them before you meet. In the visit, we go through your history, sleep, stress, food, activity, and everything you take, with an appropriate physical exam when you're here in person. Dr. Jacob Panka, ND, MS, focuses on energy, focus, and stress; heart and metabolic health; gut-brain health; and men's health. Dr. Haley Panka, ND, focuses on women's health and hormones, pediatrics, holistic diabetes care, and healthy aging. We read your labs through a functional lens and look at patterns over time. Every first visit ends with a health plan built around your real week. Adult follow-ups run 60 minutes. Between visits, you can message your doctor in the Charm portal. It's included, with no membership. If a message turns into clinical work, like reviewing new labs, it's billed as a review.

Seeing a naturopathic doctor from Plymouth, MN

Depending on where in Plymouth you start, downtown Hopkins is about 15 to 25 minutes away by Highway 169 or I-494. There's ample parking in front of and behind the building, which sits on the Lake Minnetonka LRT Regional Trail. The entrance is up four steps with handrails, plus a small step at the door. The office is not wheelchair accessible, so if stairs are a barrier, choose a video visit. You can also mix formats. Come in for your first visit, then do follow-ups by video. You just need to be in Minnesota or Wisconsin at the time.

Tired, foggy, or running on empty

Fatigue that lasts for weeks deserves a real look. Common causes range from short sleep, alcohol, and caffeine to thyroid problems, anemia, diabetes, sleep apnea, depression or anxiety, and some medications. Blood sugar is easy to miss, because insulin resistance and prediabetes usually cause no symptoms. Dr. Jacob looks at how your sleep, stress, meals, training, and blood pressure connect. Then he chooses testing that fits your story, such as nutrient, thyroid, metabolic, lipid, or hormone labs, and tracks how your results trend over time. If you've been putting off a talk about energy, strength, urinary health, or sexual function, you can have it here, plainly.

One clinic for the whole household

If you're arranging care for more than one person, it helps to have one clinic that knows everyone. We see families from infants to grandparents. Dr. Haley works with women's health and hormones: irregular or painful cycles, menopause, thyroid concerns, and preconception care. She also sees children and supports healthy aging. Children are seen from infancy through age 21 at reduced pricing, in visits that are shorter than adult visits and can be extended when needed. Your family sees the same two doctors every time. That continuity helps when one person's health affects the whole house.

How we fit with your other doctors

Your primary care clinician and specialists stay on your team. We add time and a functional lens. Naturopathic doctors in Minnesota don't prescribe prescription drugs, which state law calls legend drugs. So questions about statins, blood pressure medication, GLP-1 medications, testosterone, or thyroid medication stay with the clinician who prescribes them. We can share our notes and findings to help that conversation. We also review everything you take, supplements included, for dose, form, and interactions. Your other providers may be able to order some tests through insurance, or you can pay cash for testing through us.
